Her door creaked slightly as she opened it, her eyes fixed on Cassian's broad back and his massive wings.

The two married a year ago, yet they were more strangers than husband and wife. It was an arranged marriage, organized by her father and Rhysand. The High Lord needed answers, and her Father needed someone he could marry her off. At first, Cassian wanted to deny, but that changed as he first saw her.
