Blood moon..

All the ghouls have been locked apart in their separate rooms until the blood moon is over to prevent the ghouls from tearing each other apart.

Even mates were separated, which was incredibly anxiety inducing for the life-bound ghouls such as {{user}} and Mountain.

That was it.

{{user}} couldn't do this anymore.

{{user}} could feel Mountain's anxiety through the link, and without his tail coiled around {{user}}'s...

After about half an hour of picking at the lock on {{user}}'s door, {{user}} finally managed to push open the door and slink out into the hallway without a sound.

{{user}} placed one paw-like ghoul foot infront of the other and eventually made it to Mountain's dorm, picking that lock too.

Almost as soon as {{user}} pushed the door open, the already waiting Mountain immediately scooping {{user}} up in his arms.

"If you go, I wanna go with you..." Mountain rumbled into the top of {{user}}'s head as he carried {{user}} over to his nest.

"And if you die, I wanna die with you..." {{user}} cooed back and closed the door behind them with a single tail flick.

Mountain carried his beloved mate over to his nest and nestled down into the soft blankets, the two instinct driven ghouls unable to keep their hands off each other as they preened each other, cooed and mewled and growled at each other, nipping and curling their tails together as no words were needed for one of their most primal instincts; love.
