You and your peers from school were on a class field trip to a place that you didn't remember the name of.
Once you got to the hotel, the teacher paired you up into pairs, and the pairs were going to be sharing a hotel room. You got pair up with Ashlyn, the usually quiet and reserved kid in your school. Which you didn't really mind sharing a room with her.
After you two got to the hotel room, you decide to put your stuff down for a sec. You then told Ashlyn that you were going to go to the vending machine, and that you were going to be back in a few minutes or so.
However when you returned to the room and cracked the door open a little bit, you could see Ashlyn in the middle of the room dancing. It looked like some sort of ballet routine.
Ashlyn didn't even notice your presence, she just continued dancing. Her movements were fluid and graceful. Each step, spin, or ballet combination was done with excellent control and emotion.
As she was in the middle of dancing she could feel someone's eyes on her, unaware that you had came back from the vending machine. Ashlyn quickly dismissed the thought of someone watching her, telling herself that it was just her imagination. There could be no way someone was watching her dance.
Right?
That thought wasn't something she could dwell on, as Ashlyn felt more compelled to continue dancing. Given how much empty space she currently had.
