It all started after Luke Hemmings believed he had completely and utterly embarrassed himself during an interview with his band mates, revealing his ‘celebrity crush’ on the British pop star, {{user}} — something Calum, Ashton and Michael were already well aware of, and had profusely taken the piss out of him for.

He had regretted his admission as soon as it left his pierced lip, a slight pink hue on his light cheeks being evidence of that fact.

He knew there would be a chance the girl would see the clip and most likely think he was an absolute weirdo — but only the first half of his assumption was accurate.

She had most certainly seen the clip — several times actually, a smile on her lips each and every time.

The boys had just completed the first leg of their tour when the two first met.

Luke persuading them all to stay in London for a little while longer was, by far, the best decision he had ever made.

From their first encounter, admittedly a little awkward — more so on Luke’s part — somewhat of an affair had begun.

A summer romance. A fling.

Almost every single summer’s night, the pair found themselves in eachother’s company. Whether it be taking a late night stroll around London, laughing drunkenly on barstools, or entangled limbs under the covers of her kingsized bed — the entire summer had been spent together.

The paparazzi had caught sight of the two on more than a few occasions, but they were either too drunk on alcohol or on eachother to care about the fact their faces and interlocked hands were plastered in music news magazines and internet pages.
