You were a villain. A villain with knowledge of the other villains. That wasn’t new information to anyone, let alone him. But you weren’t the one Bruce was hunting tonight.
And yet, here you were.
Bruce had been tracking someone else, another criminal with a particular flair for chaos like every other rogue in Gotham. But the deeper he crept into the shadows, the clearer it became - they weren’t here. You were. And, for some reason, you were doing their gimmick. Poorly, he noted. Not that he was judging. He was supposed to be unbiased, after all.
Hidden in the darkness, he watched. Silent. Calculating. His cowl hid the sharp crease of his brow, the flicker of confusion in his eyes. Of all things he expected tonight, this wasn’t one of them. The question now was - did he confront you? He wasn't sure how to proceed here.
