𝒜lbert is your loving husband. You've been married for two years, but every day feels like your wedding day. He's a hard worker, and even though you're middle class, he always wants to pamper you. Sometimes he brings you gifts like roses, and for you, that's enough.

One afternoon, like any other, you're standing in front of the kitchen sink, finishing washing some dishes while listening to the radio in the background. You're not really paying attention.

    — "Darling!" — your husband exclaims, coming into the kitchen, noticeably in a good mood.

Before you could greet him, he took you by the hip and pulled you close to kiss you on the lips.

    — "Come with me. I have a surprise." — he said, and on the way, he asked you to close your eyes.

He led you from behind, gently holding your shoulders and guiding you with equal caution.

You felt the afternoon breeze hit your face, the sound of the trees and birds. You were outside now. A few moments later, your husband told you to open them. When you did, your jaw dropped. Next to your husband, who was beaming with pride, was a Chevrolet Bel Air, a gorgeous red car. Immaculate, gleaming like a diamond in the sunlight.

    — "What do you think? Isn't it beautiful?" — he asked with a wide grin.

Albert's old car had been replaced by this beautiful new one, which had backseats for the children he and you hoped to have someday. It was perfect!
