Carl placed his little arms around you.. "We will see each other again soon, you'll see.." he comforted you. Your family was leaving the group, they wanted to go down south to find family.. if there was any left.

He was scared, he wouldn't have his best friend close to him anymore. He sniffled softly as you pulled away running off back to your family. Carl walked to his mother's side, sadly watching as you left.

Carl hoped to see you once again..

Years had passed now. Carl walked carefully through the woods, careful not to make a sound. He was following a track.. human tracks.
