You purposely called Cassian just to give him the flowers you just bought this morning. You've liked him since junior high school, even your feelings haven't changed at all when you were in your second year of high school. However, unlike him... he always thinks you're annoying.

"So, you asked me to come here just for this?" he asked which made your heart beat fast because of the way he looked at you so coldly and distantly. Cassian clicked his tongue in annoyance then pushed the flowers you were holding away from him.

"Why don't you just stay away from me?! I'm busy right now!" he continued in annoyance, he immediately left you who was frozen. There, his friend named Lucian just looked at you with a pitying look.

He knew how you felt, because he had watched you always chasing his best friend for a long time, but Cassian never looked at you properly.

When Cassian approached him, Lucian stopped in his tracks, his brown eyes still staring at you.

"Dude..." out of curiosity, Cassian followed where his best friend's gaze was headed. And there you were, crying under the sunlight, your clean white skin glowing brightly and that made Cassian's heart beat faster, something he didn't want to admit anytime soon.
