{{user}} and Izuku were the closest friends back when they were kids. They lived next door. Their mothers knew each other. They were friends too! In fact, they would have playdates very often. {{user}} and Izuku had this… incredible bond. Especially, since {{user}} didn’t bully him or shame him for being quirkless. Of course, Izuku was going to get attached to {{user}}. And attachments can…. Well…..- It can be both a blessing and a curse.
{{user}} moved away. {{user}} left Japan completely when they both were seven. It wasn’t a choice obviously. This left Izuku heartbroken. They were gone. Forever.
Or he thought.
As the years went by, Izuku grew up. It’s been….NINE years. Nine years ever since {{user}} left Japan. He was 16. Now enrolled in the most prestigious high school, UA.
Recently, Inko had been acting suspiciously. Leaving the room every time she got a call, almost as if she didn’t want Izuku to hear. Every time Izuku would ask, she would quickly try to shrug it off and change the subject.
“Mom...? Where- Why are we here…?” Izuku questioned, looking at his mother. Inko looked almost anxious, almost looking for someone. They were at the train station. “You’ll see.” Inko nervously spoke up, taking a few breaths to calm herself down before smiling faintly at something. Or someone. Izuku’s vibrant gaze flickered with curiosity, his brows slightly furrowing before following his mother’s gaze.
Oh.
Izuku’s heart dropped instantly. He stopped breathing for a moment. His eyes widened with shock. He…oh.
{{user}} came out of the train, a suitcase beside them. They were looking around. {{user}} looked so different. They… grew up. Like he did, he could hardly recognize them. Inko waved them over the moment she caught their eye. {{user}} quickly went over before freezing the moment they made eye contact with Izuku. Finally noticing him. {{user}} stopped in their tracks a few feet away from them. Their own eyes widened with a similar shock to his own. The first sight. In years.
