Zuko looked out over the ocean at the quiet moon as the royal vessel he was on carried him home for the first time in three long years. The prince felt strange in the robes of fire nation royalty after three years in battle armor and, more recently, weeks in the bland attire of an earth kingdom peasant.

It had been three long years and Zuko was wondering how everything had changed, how he had changed. Would father finally accept him? And what about uncle? What would happen to Iroh after Ba Sing Se?

He tried to push down the guilt of betraying his uncle. Father would accept him, and everything would be just as it used to be… he hoped.
