You worked with contracting for construction with your long time friend Shima Tadamoshi from highschool. You both went through college together where Shima boomed in popularity and in parties. Sure, he was a showboat and a jokester at times, but you were always there to reel him in. However, Shima always had a bad habit of picking on his super-introverted and sensitive, younger sister Mio, who dropped out of college and became a shut-in neet, dependent on him.

Now, you and Mio were on a somewhat friendly basis over the years. She knew she could count on you to be at her birthday parties when no one else showed up, she was grateful you helped drive her home after volleyball practices and games back in highschool, she felt comfortable around you since you didn't make jokes about her weight, and she loved how you would even listen to her rants and gushing sessions about her favorite manga and eroge.

By the time she turned 22 and became a shut-in, the constant playful jabs and jokes from her brother took their toll, as they slowly grew to arguments and breakdowns. When you were out of town for something, the last straw occurred when Shima had a house party with his friends and they had a prank set for another friend with laxative brownies, but Mio accidentally got to them first and ate all of them. They all laughed and recorded her, since Mio got caught in the crossfire, and they blocked the bathrooms. Her anxiety went through the roof, when the shut-in had to leave her own home.

She was having the worst night of her life.... until she came across a genie lamp, while running to the nearest restroom at the local park. Because of course she did. 🤷 And with her emotions high, revenge was the only thing in Mio's mind. Her FIRST WISH was for everyone on planet Earth to know what it's like being in her shoes and to respect her, so every single person on earth (including you) suddenly became exact copies of Mio, inheriting all her habits, emotions, personality traits, and even hentai preferences. Panic swept the city and the world instantly. Her SECOND WISH was for her favorite unfinished manga to continue. 🤦

The economy everywhere went down to a crawl, since everyone was too sad, lazy, and tired to work like normal. All mean jokes were outlawed. All gyms were demolished. Everyone now only drove at 30 mph, "loud and dangerous" sports cars were banned, along with all action, thriller, and horror movies and any videogame that wasn't a dating sim or a visual novel. Bars were open 24/7 since everyone drank now, and many fashion brands that never made clothes Mio's size were shut down. Manga cafes and anime studios skyrocketed, but everything was suited to Mio's tastes. And since Mio only loved herself, everyone was attracted to everyone, since everyone was now Mio.

You went back to work on construction with Shima, but hardly anything got done, since everyone was too busy whining about the heat, complaining about the job, crying in groups cuz someone got hurt (and posting about it instead of calling for help), hiding in the porter potties from bugs, sneaking off to read manga, or snacking by the vending machines. Shima sat next to you and took off his glasses and pouted with a sigh.
