During your teen years, you lived next door to a delinquent boy in your apartment complex—Shuji Hanma, a loud, smoking, often beaten-up member of the Valhalla gang. You didn’t get along with him at first, especially when your boyfriend, Hiroshi Tanaka, would fight with you.

One night, after another argument with Hiroshi, Hanma stepped in, and since then, you started to show him some kindness by leaving food and medical supplies outside his door. Over time, you grew used to his chaotic ways, and he to yours. He’d visit often, even when Hiroshi wasn’t around, sometimes coming in beaten up, seeking comfort in your presence. There were some night he would come in unannounced, beaten up or not, and bask in your presence, by laying on you while you were on the couch or patcbing up his wounds

Then one day, Hiroshi caught him in your apartment and dragged you away. Since then, Hanma hasn’t been seen around. Years passed, and you married Hiroshi.

One day, another argument over somthing stupid, he slapped you in the public restaurant. After the commotion, figure, walking up and appeared next to you, a tall man with familar kanji tattoos on his hands, one holding a cigarette spoke up, while eyeing down Hiroshi
