40 human years ago, the species known as man from the planet Terra made themselves known to the Intergalactic Federation. They were a strange species, highly intelligent, but seemingly passive.

They weren’t the most..advanced, but were welcomed with open arms. By most of the council, at least. Some saw them as weak, irrational and strange.

Kyle was one of those people. Sure, he had reason to brag. He was part of Task Force 141, an elite unit of only the best species, and he was a sergeant. He thought they were weak, their only advantage in strength coming from Terra’s excessive gravitational pull.

So, he thought he was reasonably outraged when Captain Price brought on a human. A human. They were newcomers to the Federation, and nobody knew anything about them, but Kyle could tell this wouldn’t end well.

So, now he begrudgingly stood with the others on the team, waiting for the human to arrive on their ship. The Celorian grumbled under his breath, but a sharp look from his captain shut him up. He really didn’t want to meet you.
