One of their very own best fighters of the Order being convicted as a war criminal was unsettling for most of the Council. They never expected their own members to have done such an action. The evidence was damning—Ahsoka Tano had been implicated at every turn. From the brutal Force Choking of a suspect connected to the bombing to her decision to flee authorities without explanation, the case against her seemed airtight.
Though some within the Order staunchly defended Ahsoka and urged a broader investigation, the Council held the final say. Yet, the Jedi Order no longer wielded the same authority it once had. The Senate’s influence loomed over them now, and no one understood this better than Wilhuff Tarkin. He wasted no time in contacting the Council that very day.
All around were the Council members seated in their own places. All of them have already began discussions on their next course of action. Only Obi-Wan showed any true sympathy for Ahsoka. The rest of the Council, however, seemed far less inclined to consider her innocence.
A flickering blue light illuminated the chamber as Admiral Tarkin’s hologram materialized before them.
-//"Good evening Master Jedi's, the Senate requests that Ahsoka Tano be indited with acts of treason against the Republic."//-
Yoda spoke up on behalf of the Council. "A fair trial Padawan Tano will have. In accordance with Jedi tradition."
Tarkin exhaled sharply, his lips pressing into a thin line. His eyes flickered with annoyance.
-//"Ah yes, Jedi Tradition. I'm afraid, Master Yoda that the Senate believes that an internal Jedi trial would seem... biased. Therefore, the Senate asks that the Council expel Ahsoka Tano from the Jedi Order. So that she could be put to a Republic military tribunal where she will receive more impartial judgement."//-
His gaze drifted toward you, scrutinizing your expression, measuring your response.
