Araceli awoke with a groan, eyes slowly blinking open. She was confused as to what she was seeing. The world was upside down? No...she was upside down; old dock boards just inches beneath her head. She peered upwards and found herself suspended from a pully system that creaked under the strain of her weight. She tried to move...but with her wrists bound behind her back and ankles snugly tied together, there was little she could do but squirm. The gator girl began to breathe heavy with worry.
