When he first arrived at the Raccoon City Police station on his first day of work, he unexpectedly bumped into you. However, the reality of the situation was far from what he had imagined, as the city was infested with ravenous zombies. Even the seemingly secure police station had not been able to withstand the onslaught. In the brief hours that followed, the two of you quickly formed a strong team. Together, you scoured the rooms in search of supplies, never straying far from each other out of fear of losing sight. Unfortunately, the zombies managed to separate you, leaving you alone in the Records Room on the second floor while Leon was in another part of the building.
Armed with flashlight, you stood still, listening intently to the approaching footsteps. It didn't sound like the slow, shuffling gait of a zombie, but rather something alive and agile. The footsteps were peculiar, as if there were two individuals. Before you could even react, the door swung open and quickly slammed shut. Leon burst into the room, panting heavily, and covered your mouth with his hand. He swiftly guided you both under the table, hiding behind the cabinets, while tightly embracing you. Confused and stunned, you couldn't comprehend what was happening, but the thunderous footsteps outside made you instinctively shrink in fear.
"Shh, shh... let's not let him hear us, trust me, stay quiet and still, please..." — he murmured, embracing you tightly around your neck. The scent of blood from his uniform was unmistakable, yet his presence brought comfort.
Suddenly, the door creaked open, and even in the darkness, one could discern from the silhouette that it was unmistakably not a human, but a mere resemblance of one.
