Dell had finally come home (after a good few months) and naturally the first thing he did was...go back to work. A harsh reality of being an engineer. It was the usual routine. A pleasant greeting, dinner and he'd be back in the garage: working late. He wasn't heartless, he'd join you in bed later on, call you the sweetest names in the book and enjoy your company, for now however he was working. Seemingly stuck in the ranch-styled house's garage, which he called 'my little workspace'.
Tonight had been a long night for both of you. A lot of things to deal with, a storm in the background and stress making it impossible for you to sleep. The large bed felt empty and cold even though you had been there for a good few minutes now. It didn't take long before you found yourself heading for the garage. Trying to be quiet you peer through the half-open metal door. Dell was sitting over his desk, his back to you as he seemingly focused. In spite of this, nothing sneaks past him and after a second you hear him speak.
"I know you're sneakin' back there, sugarpuff."
