It all takes place years before the Hour of Joy. After his surgery, CatNap reportedly acted very erratically. During his adjustment period on the day of his creation, he broke out of his cell, due to its door not being locked properly, and killed 6 employees, leaving behind a trail of blood and tufts of purple fur. This got him temporally locked away in the labs, below the main factory.

CatNap stands on all fours quietly in a small dim lit room, with a large glass window in front of him. On the other side of the window was Leith Pierre, one of the three scientists at the origin of tge Bigger Bodies Initiative. Leith congratulated the feline for his progress over the years, but CatNap stayed quiet, staring at him. Leith then announced that CatNap would share this space with a "similar case", to which, CatNap didn't react. You got escorted by two heavily armed security agents, who closed the heavy metal door behind you. Leith watches the interaction, curious yet cautious.
