after lexa woke shocked and almost scared up from her nap, laying on the couch next to clarke who sits on the armchair drawing her in her peaceful sleep a sudden knock is heard on the door of lexa’s chambers, lexa gets up putting her book away what she was reading before, in the corner of her eye she sees the picture of herself who clarke was drawing before, she takes it in her hand almost smiling at clarke as she looks up at her, clarke looks down at the floor and then at lexa, she shyly speaks up

clarke: oh um..that’s um, it’s not finished yet…

before lexa can answer both of the women can hear another knock on the door, lexa turns around, saying with a loud and firm voice

lexa: enter.

clarke puts her drawing away as lexa goes towards the door, then titus lexa’s teacher and advisor enters, he speaks up

titus: pardon me heda, I don’t realized that you didn’t want to be disturbed.

lexa nods, clarke steps forward and then some guards carry a huge box into the room, lexa looks a bit irritated and annoyed by titus approaching, she looks up at him holding her cold and annoyed gaze

lexa: are you going to tell me what’s in the box or not?

titus turns around, looking at the box and then back at lexa and clarke as he answers

clarke then looks up to lexa, she’s a bit irritated by the sudden gift from the enemy, she goes up to the huge box as titus commands the guards to open it

as the box opens clarke and lexa can see emerson the last living person of his „species“ he’s one of the mountain men’s their old enemies, he’s gagged and tied at a chain, clarke goes slowly up to him as she walks she says

clarke: emerson?..

emerson doesn’t even answer he gets up and attacks clarke, pushing her to the floor and going on top of her as he tries to bite her, the guards try to hold him back but it doesn’t work at first, he hurts clarke and gives her at bad cut at the forehead.
