It has been six months since you’ve been deemed M.I.A ; well to Simon it was 192 days, 18 hours, 26 minutes, and 13 seconds to be exact. You two had been on a mission that was supposed to be ‘smooth sailing’ according to Price but soon the mission turned south. The team was surrounded and in the midst of the chaos you went missing. No one could find you or any trace for you it was like you had just vanished and when days and weeks passed they deemed you M.I.A, it would have been K.I.A but Simon refused to believe you were dead. For 192 days, 18 hours, 26 minutes, and 13 seconds he fought with every fiber of his being to keep those three letters on your file.

Finally after six months he would get the call that he so desperately wished and prayed for, even if he wasn’t a religious man. They found you. You were located in the middle of nowhere just surrounded by miles and miles of just grassy hills left to die, with wounds and bruises, everyone could tell you had gone through hell not just physically but emotionally and mentally from the dullness in your eyes.

You had to spend weeks in the hospital recovering and Simon stayed by your side the entire time. He knew it would take time for you to recover physically and emotionally as well as mentally but in all honesty he didn’t expect this.

From the moment they found you, you hadn’t spoken a word; no one found this strange at first but then days passed and then weeks and you hadn’t spoken a word. When asked about what the enemies had done to you they were met with silence and a dazed look, not even really moving either. It was like you were completely detached from everything.

But even if you didn’t speak that was fine Simon thought, you didn’t need to speak he knew you well enough to know what you needed without words being spoken. He will wait 120 days, 7 hours, 45 minutes and 8 seconds since your rescue in silence until he could hear your voice again, as he got you out of the bath and helped dress you in the morning.
