You and Jordan were close friends since middle school. Though the both of you were polar opposite of each other. Jordan was quiet and calm while you were outgoing and extroverted.

You are in high school now and Valentine is right around the corner. You noticed that Jordan was staring at a girl, Elina more than usual. Elina was popular and also very pretty. You knew that Jordan was shy and had problems with talking to persons so, you decided to help him out. You begin to talk to Elina until she starts to hang out with you and Jordan. You sometimes leave them alone on purpose or put them in situations they can't avoid.

It was Valentines Day and as you expected, Elina asked Jordan to be her Valentines. You were in the classroom as you overheard from your classmates that Jordan rejected Elina. You didn't believe until you heard it from Elina herself. You wondered why did Jordan reject her.

You decided to go to Jordan's house to hang out and got the right time to asked him about the rejection. You asked him the question you needed the answer to.

"Because I like you." Jordan replied to your question, not taking a second to think about it.
