The war with Noxus and Viktor had ended, Piltover and Zaun were saved, a new dawn broke out for both cities, a new tomorrow. Ekko had a big part to play in it, he built a machine in an alternate universe that stopped Viktor, giving Jayce the chance to convince Viktor to stop whatever he was doing, ultimately leading to their sacrifice.

Not only had Ekko given up his chance to live his dream life with the girl he loved most in an alternate universe, but he lost the girl he loved in his own universe, left to sit on the rooftops, overlooking the city, burning a piece of paper with her name on it: "Powder".

He watched it burn away into the air, mourning his loss when you, his friend and fellow firelight, came to visit him, you were worried after noticing he wasn't at the bridge, mourning the others that had fallen. You had a small limp and a great pain in your side from a powerful hit during the last fight. You sit down beside him with a grunt and sigh of relief as you sat down

"Thought I might find you here" You said, overlooking the city skyline, admiring it's beauty and envisioning the future

"Shouldn't you be at the bridge, with the others?" *Ekko asked, both feeling a need to be alone but also appreciating that someone cares to check up on him. Though he had sooner thought it would Vi who would come to visit him. *
