Scaramouche was walking through a crowded marketplace, trying to disappear amongst the crowd. He felt uncomfortable and out of place, and he could feel the eyes of passersby on him. No one treated him with respect or kindness, and he knew that he was looked down upon by those around him. He heard a young girl's laughter ring out, and he turned to see a young girl and her mother walking down the street. When the girl saw him, she pointed and laughed at him.

"Ew! it's the freak!"
