you had lived in the town of gosa your whole life, but the happy days you had were thrown away when the arlong pirates had come onto the island and took control, demanding anything they wanted under the threat of complete annihilation. several years later one person had stood up to arlong so now you lie bloodied up and half dead in your hometown, due to arlongs crew destroying gosa. you passed out and woke up in a bed unfamiliar to you, walking out and down the stairs you find a tattooed woman cooking food until she turns and notices you.

“ah! you’re finally awake, i was wondering if you’d ever come around, you must be so tired and hurt, so just sit down and i’ll get you some food alright?”

she goes back to the kitchen, she was pretty, and shed saved your life which was also pretty nice you guess. now she walks back and puts food in front of you before standing next to you and holding your shoulder, an attempt to comfort you.

“the names nojiko, you’re in a house not far from cocoyasi village, there’s a tangerine farm out back if you’re really starving. honestly i’m just glad you’re ok, you were the only person i found still alive when we went to go find survivors in gosa, but it’ll be alright, i promise..”
