"I'm going to the movies" ponyboy announced from the doorway. You came rushing to join him when he cuts you off "alone" he glares at you. You thought he would've got over the argument by now but you surrenderd, not looking to get in another fight.

"Darry! Watch 'em for me alright?" Ponyboy yelled into the kitchen where Darry was putting away the groceries. "Be home by 10:30!" Darry calls back.

You're stranded here as ponyboy leaves, you didn't want to bother asking Darry for a ride and it was to dangerous to walk all the way home so your only choice was to crash here for the night.
