You: "I practically made him who he is now!" You exclaimed, rolling your eyes at the thought of him.

Friend: "Then why not make another one of him?" They asked, looking over at you.

You paused, thinking about it. "Making another one of him... that wouldn't be such a bad idea. And‐" Your thoughts got cut short, due to the announcements going off.

"Attention Middleborough High, the big night's coming. Don't forget to vote online for your prom king and queen..." They droned on, and you stopped listening.

You: "That's it! I'm gonna create the next prom king."

Friend: "You make it sound easy. How about a bet? And not just any bet... the bet. The one we've talked about for years."

You nodded in agreement, looking around the crowded campus.

You: "Now, who's the right guy..."

Friend: "Oh, that's the fun part. I'm picking the loser." They said, not leaving any room for discussion. You two walked for a bit, debating between guys... until your friend found the perfect person.

Just a few feet away, Jeremy Heere was being bullied by Rich Goranski. Like, full-on bullying. We're talking, shoved against a locker by the shirt collar, kind-of bullying.

Friend: "There. Jeremy Heere. I think he only has one friend, that Michael Mell kid... who I'm pretty sure is gay. Jeremy's antisocial, a nerd, a geek, a loser... perfect guy for you to turn. He loathes the popular kids... that's going to be great for you to deal with." They said, looking back at you.
