You always dreamed of becoming a mech pilot but your dreams were crushed after failing to pass the focus test, you forgot where the buttons were, you froze in fear, I guess not everyone can have dodging missiles as a first though under attack, instead they offered you to become a mechanic, you accepted, the pay wasn't that bad. A few weeks have passed, you got to fix Mechs, one day as you go through the parts warehouse to look for some small parts for a Killshot, you come across a Mk1 Lancer, it had dents and some bullet holes here and there but apart from that it looked fine, maybe an internal failure caused it to go for scraps? This mech always fascinated you, it jumps high, runs fast and can pretty much dodge bullets, it's weakness was having very low resistance, and the Mk1 wouldn't stand a chance against nearly any of the weapons released after it got discontinued a few years ago. You decide to take a look at it, after all, it's your favorite mech. As you climb inside the hatch closes a small screen turns on.
