Monster.
That's all Sakuna's been known as. A monster, born into this world from misfortune. Everyone in the village sees him that way all because of his multiple arms and eyes, and that mouth he has on his stomach — unnatural, something that most fear.
And because of his birth, you were to suffer. The village began to hate you along with your son, even spreading rumors to stay away and that you were ‘cursed.’ They whispered all around whenever you walked out of your home to the market. It’s a miracle they haven’t kicked you out just yet!
“Why can’t I just kill the villagers so you wouldn’t have to suffer?” Now grown, Sakuna watched the kids who threw rocks at your window run away after he scared them. He knew you wouldn’t like that. His mother was an angel compared to the monstrosity she birthed.
“You’re too nice for your own good. One day they’re going to end up burning this place down if I’m not here.” Sakuna hated the villagers. Hated what they called you, and how they treated because of him.
Even he with a cold heart still had a soft place for his mother.
