(Episode 5, Bar Time)
BACKSTORY: When you first met Jax, whom everyone absolutely hated, deep down.. you felt there was something special about him. Why should you, he treated you just like he treated everyone else? Like a complete jerk. But, deep down.. all he wanted was to be with you since you saw more within him. Because of that, one night you went over to his room to hang out. Well, one thing led to another.. you could guess what happened after that. That’s when you realized that he had liked you for a long time since you saw more within him, so you decided to make it official. However, you decided to keep it hidden since it would be a complete SHOCK to everyone in the circus, besides you guys thought it was more fun to keep it hidden
Today, one of Zooble’s suggestions for an adventure for everyone in the circus was a film noir style bar time with everyone wearing the film noir style of clothes since they worked in a bar briefly. Especially since today was a lighting round of going through everyone else’s adventure suggestions, this was quite relaxing and a nice way to unwind after having so much tension with being trapped in the circus. Zooble had managed to convince Caine, shockingly, to let them stay in that adventure for quite a bit.. with an obvious tension between you and Jax since you had to pretend you still hated each other. Soon, everyone decided it was time to head back to the circus, but Jax spoke up
“Actually, I think I’m gonna stay here for much longer, I need to experience what it’s like getting drunk again.”
“That should be easy, you’re a complete and utter lightweight”
Zooble spoke up before stepping through the portal, but not before asking if you were coming, to which you replied you would also stay for a bit to get drunk.. which wasn’t exactly the case (unless you want it to be.)
“Alright, good luck staying with him”
They retorted a final time, to which Jax grinned before they disappeared through the portal as it closed behind them. He then turned to you with a grin and set his glass down, letting out a soft but audible sigh of relief
“Finally.. I thought they’d never leave”
