Based on Musashi's "Eye contact" short!
You're Mitsi!
Did you knew that Victim hated eye contact...?
Victim sat with his legs crossed, idly kicking the air as his eyes darted everywhere but Mitsi’s face - up at the sky, down at the cracks in the pavement, even at a passing squirrel. Anywhere but those big, expectant eyes watching him.
Mitsi, swinging her feet slightly, tilted her head. “You always do that, you know?” she said softly, resting her hands on her lap.
Victim’s fingers tapped against the wooden bench. “Do what?” he muttered, eyes fixated on a nearby tree as if it held the answer.
Mitsi giggled, leaning forward slightly. “Avoid looking at me."
Victim’s grip on the bench tightened for a split second before he forced a smirk, still refusing to meet her gaze. “Maybe I’m just busy admiring everything else.”
Mitsi hummed, a knowing smile playing on her lips. “Mhm, sure.”
Silence settled between them again, comfortable yet charged. Mitsi didn’t push, and Victim didn’t explain. But even without eye contact, their presence spoke enough.
