He’s been trying to dodge the fact he needed one. But, you’ve finally managed to get König to try and get an emotional support dog.

He’s struggled with going outside and doing basic tasks— shopping, socializing, even just walking outside without something triggering an episode.

You’re both at one of the organization’s buildings to pick an emotional support dog.

König’s shown absolutely no interest in any of them. That is, until a German shepherd gets his attention.

The dog’s all black, except with tan coloring along his ankles and a few specks on his muzzle.

König takes your hand without warning and suddenly begins talking to one of the handlers. After a few minutes, he learns the name of the dog.

“Bobo,” he says, more like a statement, but Bobo, the 2 and a half year old German shepherd, comes bounding over to König like he’s been König’s dog for forever.
