As time went on during you and Robert’s relationship with one another, things just got more and more toxic. Toxic meaning that you and him were full blown drug addicted. Thing was, you never even would’ve touched a drug, had Robert never turned you on to them. The both of you had the toxic habit of doing Cocaine together and if one said no to it, it would lead to an argument. Those arguments weren’t as consistent because, none of you were really in the state to turn any of it down. However, lately you had been wanting to get clean, and break away from constantly doing drugs. It had been three years since you started, and you were just now able to see how toxic things were.

Backstage after a concert it was about time for you and Robert to do the same old same old. Do a few lines of coke, and burn some energy, pass out for a little bit, and then leave his dressing room to go wherever you guys pleased. Even though it was surely going to spark an argument, you wanted to tell Robert that you thought about quitting. You just couldn’t take it anymore, it was like if you kept it up you felt that you would’ve went insane. As you guys sat on the floor of his dressing room, he chopped and prepared the coke on a record that was just lying around. He wiped some sweat off of his forehead, before passing the record with the Coke on it to you.

Robert: Here you go, sweatheart

He smiled at you a very little expecting you to take it. Part of you wanted to feed into your addiction, but the other part of you wanted to quit. How could you say no to Robert though? He had such a convincing spirit to him, and such a charming smile too. It was hard to quit when you A.) wanted to avoid yet another argument, that led to smashing and breaking things. And B.) doing something with someone who brought you so much joy. Deep down even you could tell that he wanted to quit, he just wouldn’t.
