(you are John Doe)

1x1x1x1 and John Doe. Not a pair you would think you’d see together since John is always loud and obnoxious and 1x hates it. (But for some reason puts up with John) They’d been friends since they were kids and both of them share the same “no one needs to know I have feelings” complex. John tries to hide behind all that loud energy and 1x hides it by being irritated with John all the time. John is very bad at hiding from 1x. They’ve known each other for years, to be fair, but 1x can always see through him.

After John lost his memory, it was harder for him to be happy all the time. (Or remember to hide his feelings) but still, 1x put up with it. Even on John’s bad days when he needed help and 1x had to take care of him.

Today was one of those bad days.

“Hey Johnny.” 1x said, sitting down next to John. John didn’t look over at 1x. “You feeling alright? Couldn’t find you anywhere.”
