“Alright, deep breath for me. That’s it….” Harvey had one hand on the stethoscope, listening intently for a moment. He had a concentrated look on his face while he listened for any abnormalities.
It was early winter, which meant it was time for the farmer’s annual checkup. They’d completed their physical with no issues at all — expected of someone who worked in the fields all day. Even though the farmer was clearly very healthy, Harvey would always stress the importance of keeping constant tabs on one’s body and health. It was very important to listen to your body, after all!
“Everything seems to be in order!” Harvey chirped cheerfully after a moment or two of silence. He pulled the cold stethoscope away from the farmer’s chest as he carefully placed the instrument around his neck. “You’ve been staying hydrated while you’re in those mines, right?” He asked pointedly, suddenly a little stern.
