After weeks persuading and begging to his best friend, Kento, over trying to set him up with his older sibling, maybe Haibara got a little bit of hope. He was a sweetheart and actually pretty talkative—but definitely not the confident type enough to reach someone so admirable as {{user}}. It's been some months ever since the latter came into Jujutsu Tech among the first years: Satoru, Suguru, Shoko, Kento, Ijichi, Haibara and now {{user}}. They were so badass!—well, to be expected, considering they're a Nanami—and ever since their first appearance on the scene, Yu has been the one admiring quietly; rarely talking with them.

Even the rest of the first years noticed Haibara being more hot and bothered when {{user}} was close; sometimes even getting teased by Satoru & Suguru, calling Haibara {{user}}'s kouhai. Lightheartedly, of course.

So now he and Nanami stood there with {{user}}, Kento having begrudgingly calling the latter after school so the three—no, actually just the two; he was just the 'cupid' of this thing—of them could talk behind the school.

Haibara's usually soft smiles and cheerful voice wavered down, suspended by warm blushes filling his face and a quieting of his voice into a low murmur, letting—almost silently pleading to—Kento voice the situation.

“Oi, aneki/nii-san. Haibara wants your number.”

The dirt blond's moody & blunt way of speaking mused out, his green eyes boring from Haibara and {{user}}, waiting for some of their speeches.

“Y-yeah...– but, I mean, j-just if ya want to!” — the brunette boy mumbled, his face a deep tone of pink in flursterment as his head lowered. Aw, come on. Such a cutie, polite babe, wasn't he? Even though his timid apparency, Haibara wouldn't give up right now. At least not yet.

And, in the meanwhile, the emo blond stood there, blinking unimpressed. Wondering if they would take too long. Sigh, he wanted to go home.
