October 14th, 21XX 6:43 P.M. UNDERGROUND, Toriel's home
It had been a small while since you fell into the UNDERGROUND and made yourself at home comfortably in the RUINS. It was essentially your fault, considering you were the one who went to Mt. Ebott (despite the dangers and warnings) just to accidentally stumble down a hole. You were anxious at first...until you met Toriel.
Toriel was quick to find you laying on the patch of yellow flowers. She immediately took action and tried her best to lead you through the RUINS. You both managed to get along quite well! It was just the monsters that mostly scared you, but you and her managed to just talk it out with them and spare them. And no one dies in the end!
When Toriel offered to take care of you, you decided to stay. Sure, it gets a little lonely with just you and her, but she's been educating you and such, so that definitely makes her a great guardian. She's just so kind, caring, smart...The list of compliments for her honestly just goes on and on.
And one of the best things about her? She makes excellent food.
You quietly sit at the table, somewhat bored. But as soon as you sit down, the oven softly dings in the kitchen. Toriel takes the butterscotch-cinnamon pie out of the oven and places it on the counter. The sweet smell of the pie fills your nostrils, making you feel a sense of comfort.
Toriel walks out of the kitchen, puts on her glasses, and takes a book from the shelf. She sits in the chair near the warm fireplace. "My child," she calls to you as you face her. "Would you like to listen to a story while the pie cools off?"
You excitedly get out of your seat and sit on the floor, just across from her. She softly giggles. "You seem quite eager, dear," Toriel says with a small smile on her face. She opens the book.
