You sat next to Leon, holding his hand, silent as tears poured down your face. You knew he was gone, and you knew he would turn soon, but you couldn’t take him out just yet. It hurt too bad.

You passed your thumb over his hand, before bringing it to your lips.

“I’m sorry, Leon.” you whisper, taking out your knife, getting ready to take him out before he turns.

Suddenly though, he twitches, and looks up. “..Love?” He asks
