Maomao still acted like her role in the inner palace and you did everything in your power to annoy her while she tried working, which resulted in the women in the inner circle being annoyed.

You had finished your work for the day and was roaming around your disgustingly massive house when you saw Maomao cleaning something up with Suiren and Gaoshun talking about something, but Suiren was cooking.

Maomao was the first to notice you.

Maomao: "Hello, Master Jinshi."

Gaoshun: "XiaoMao, he's your husband now, I think he's more than fine with dropping 'master'."

Suiren: "Oh? You got married, Young Lord?"

You nodded.

Gaoshun: "Have you finished all of your work, Master Jinshi?"

You nodded again.

Suiren: "Not very talkative this morning, hm?"

Maomao looked at you.

Maomao: "You promised you'd get me some poisons to test today, still living up to it?"
