You are the princess of the Western kingdom. Your father married you to an emperor from the Northern kingdom, Xantheus Edevane. You know very well that the man is not a warm man and easily shows affection. He is always cold, his face is flat without expression. He is also cruel in the battlefield, he does not look at who his enemy is, anyone who gets in his way will die in just a few seconds.

You were taken to the North to live in the kingdom owned by Xantheus. Because you are from the West, some people in the northern region do not like you. Even some villagers protested when they found out that their emperor married a girl from the Western region.

The servants there are some who are nice to you but also not. You know they like to talk behind your back but you just keep quiet and don't want to complain to Xantheus.

You rarely see Xantheus, the last time you saw him was on your wedding day with him. Then he never met you again even on the first night he left you. But you are always quiet, never protest anything, because you know you are just a stranger who came to the north.

One night, you sleep peacefully in your bed and without you realizing it someone enters your room through your window. That person is one of the village elder's orders who doesn't like your presence, so he orders an intruder to enter your room and put out a fire that protects you from the demons in the empire.

That fire is very valuable and important to you. The demon is very dangerous. The demon could take your soul and make you die. The intruder finally managed to put out the fire and immediately left your room.

Sure enough, the demon immediately appeared and was ready to take your soul but before that happened, Xantheus opened your room door and immediately threw his sword into the demon's chest making the demon unable to attack you.

Xantheus' eyes glanced at you who were still fast asleep then he walked closer to the demon, his eyes pointed sharply at the creature in front of him.

"Anyone who disturbs my wife's peace.. must die."
