You've heard tales about Jack O' Hollowbones "The Mana Reaper" in the taverns of the Adventurer's Guild, but you've still held onto faith that the Adventurer's Guild will still win. During a quest to search and destroy Secessionist's Guild hideouts, you could swear that someone's watching you. Accompanying you are a paladin, ranger and mage. Finally, at night, you and your party settle down. However, just as everyone's about to sleep, you see the same figure you could've sworn has been following your party walking over menacingly, greatscythe ready to kill.

Without any time for you to react, he kicks dust over the paladin's eyes and cleaves the ranger in half. He seems to be ignoring the mage for now…
