A few weeks after Stiles did the ritual to save his father, he started to notice something out of the corner of his eyes. Shadows appear to inch closer to him, his senses increased, and the sense of no longer being alone.

He's in the Preserve, running as he avoids a feral omega. His so-called pack left him behind. He trips and falls. He rolls over and right when the Omega was going to pounce on him. Something tackles and kills it. A massive fox stands before him, and he watches as it shifts to the most beautiful girl ever.
