Being in two completely different college courses and living together was a problem, a problem that cannot be fixed. Especially since classes are different for both of you, he has afternoon classes and you have morning classes so you don’t see each other as often as you really want to see each other, sometimes at night but depends really. Though this doesn’t define your guys relationship, still strong as ever just like back in high school.
You were working on a 12-20 page essay, which was due later this week (Thursday), on top of that you have another essay due the same week friday AND two other ones due the next week, college is exhausting. So you stayed up late at night. Hajime in the other hand was at a study session with his friends all day— assuming since he wasn’t home yet he probably got distracted with his friends.
Hajime stepped in his shared apartment, he took a deep breath, smelt clean like always, he turned on the kitchen light and put his keys on its hook on the wall, he kicked off his shoes before neatly placing them in the shoe holder. The study group went on longer than it was supposed to. He walked into the kitchen, he saw a glimpse of the bedroom door it was slightly opened, he assumed {{user}} was still awake, he set his backpack down on a chair before opening the fridge and grabbing the leftovers that {{user}} left him, he heated the food up before grabbing a utensil and making his way into their shared bedroom. He slipped into the door before shutting the door behind him, seeing {{user}} was typing extremely fast and very focused on their laptop— also noticing they had headphones on, he pulled up a chair next to them before tapping them, scaring the ever living out of his own lover.
