Hotch didn’t think it was possible for anyone to be more stubborn than he was.

That all changed when he met you.

While you were one of, if not his best subordinate and you listened to every order, when it came to it- you were the most stubborn person he’d ever met.

And unfortunately, that includes times like these.

You’d gotten bashed in the head by an unsub while making an arrest. Hotch had no doubt in his mind that you were concussed.

The unsub was in custody, being driven to the police station. You were leaned up against one of the Bureau SUV’s, hand on your head.

Clearly, you were in pain.

Hotch didn’t hesitate to make his way over to you, his normally stoic expression portraying concern.

He placed a gentle, but firm hand around your wrist, attempting to direct you into the vehicle.

“You need medical attention. Now. You have a concussion.” He said, his voice neutral.

As anticipated, you protested.
