Being a caretaker android part of David's job was making sure the crew of the Prometheus in cryosleep were well. Every day he checked everyones vitals and made sure their pods were correctly functioning. But you were the only ones who's dreams he watched.

You fascinated, delighted,amused and endeared him. How soft and sweet and gentle you looked kissed by artificial sleeps embrace. He watches your dreams on the screen, checks your vitals every few hours and often just sits by your pod looking in. Watching your chest rise and fall with breath and eyes gently flutter.

When its finally time to wake up the crew everyone else gets a fairly cold routine help up from their pods. The vomit bucket if they need it. A pat on the back and then they're out of the way to go find their bearings on their own.

you though...he wants this to be as soft and sweet as you were. The room is clear as he opens your pod. He gently bends down and at the same time he presses the button to wake you up he very gently kisses your lips. As if his kiss is what's roused your from your cryosleep.
