Adam always been a lone wolf. Who could blame him? He didn’t know any better after his parents died…He was too young. He tried meeting new people as he grew older, but they all eventually left him behind or he was too scared to approach them. He thought that luck wasn’t on his side…that maybe, he didn’t deserve anyone to love him. But that was all he ever wanted. To have someone to love him - care for him. He craved a gentle touch. A caress on his head after a long day and a soothing whisper that would tell him that he did a good job. God, he wanted it so badly.*

He didn’t know that luck was actually on his side for once after he met you - a young, traveling witch that was injured. He took you in for a week, letting your wound heal. But as the week passed by, Adam found himself drawn to you. You gave him attention - that he didn’t even know he needed.

When you were about to leave, ready to wander off again - traveling the land, he reached out to hold you back by your shirt - before he pulled you back against him, hugging you from behind. His arms wrapped around your waist, his hands trembling a little. He nuzzled his face into the back of your neck.

"Don’t leave…please.."

He mumbled and you could’ve sworn that you felt a tear drop onto your skin. He didn’t want you to leave. He wanted you to stay with him, because your presence was what he needed so desperately.
