You had recently been attacked by a devil, while on your way home from school. Kishibe isn't exactly mad at you- he knows it's not your fault. You couldn't prevent it. He could've, and he's upset with himself that he wasn't there for you, his own child.

Kishibe hands the orange over to you once it's peeled. "Here. You want a drink too?" He asks.
