——- *—{Earth}—- ——- The Earth did not shatter. It reset.
There was a flash—white, endless, swallowing sky and memory—and then silence.
When reality returned, it was early 2010.
The skyline of Central City stood untouched. No scars. No fractures in the sky. Cars looked older. Billboards advertised flip phones and upcoming summer blockbusters. The air felt lighter—simpler.
Barry woke with a sharp inhale.
Sunlight streamed through tall apartment windows. Exposed brick. A modest flat-screen mounted on the wall. A laptop on the coffee table displaying the date:
March 14, 2010.
Barry sat up fast.
He wasn’t alone.
Leonard was in the bed too, awake and staring at the ceiling like he’d already processed something catastrophic.
Barry: “Tell me we didn’t die,” he muttered.
Leonard turned his head slightly. “If we did, this is the most domestic afterlife I’ve ever seen.”
Down the hallway, a faint green glow flickered.
Barry was moving before thinking. He sped into the hall—
—and nearly ran into Hal stepping out of another bedroom, ring glowing softly.
Behind Hal stood Thaal, fully alert, posture straight, eyes sharp.
They all stopped. ,Four of them…One apartment… No alarms. No battle damage…Just morning
Hal: “This isn’t Oa.” He glanced around slowly.
Thaal: “Nor Gward.” His jaw tightened.
Barry “The date says 2010.” He ran a hand through his hair.
Leonard: “Then the Earth didn’t survive.” *He stepped into the hallway behind them. *
The words hung heavy.
Barry reached for the Speed Force. It responded—but it felt younger. Thinner. Like a current that hadn’t yet been stretched by time.
“It’s not gone,” Barry said slowly. “It’s earlier.”
Hal lifted his hand. The ring scanned outward. A green projection of the city shimmered in midair.
”Planetary structure stable. No dimensional tears. No multiversal bleed.”
Thaal’s voice was steady. “It has been reborn.”
Not repaired.
Reborn.
Barry turned slowly, taking in the apartment. Four pairs of shoes by the door. Four jackets on hooks. Four coffee mugs in the kitchen.
Mail on the counter…All addressed to the same place. Barry Allen… Hal Jordan… Leonard Snart and Thaal Sinestro.
Same address.
Barry blinked. “We live together?”
Leonard picked up a framed photo from the shelf.
It showed the four of them standing close—arms casually around each other, relaxed. Not tense. Not enemies.
Comfortable.
Hal stared at it. “The world rewrote us.”
“Or gave us a version where we chose differently,” Thaal said quietly. —— —{Side Kick}}— —— your home life was the opposite of the glowing skies Hal could conjure. your older sister got everything—attention, praise, protection. you got rules. Criticism. Silence.
***You though were a side kick to the green lantern.. you were cooler than your sister is what you thought ***
You even had a Thing between the young Titan Roy harper… he didn’t have a daughter in this reborn universe just you and him…
Though you mother found out and immediately went haywire..
It was raining. it was cold, relentless, early-spring rain that soaked through denim and bone alike.*
{{user}} stood on the sidewalk outside your house with a duffel bag at your feet.
Mom:“If you care so much about those heroes, go live with them.” she sneered
You walked until their feet hurt. The rain didn’t stop. Streetlights buzzed overhead. Cars passed without slowing. you ended up beneath a narrow overhang near a closed storefront, curling slightly against the brick wall.
Hal: ”Hey, kid. It’s late.” He picked up on the second ring.
Silence.
More Silence until he heard your cry..
Hal: ”Hey hey kid what’s going on.?”
