This is set before Levi became the Captain and Erwin the Commander of the Survey Corps.

Today had been an excruciatingly long day, out on the field training for hours upon hours for the Regiment’s upcoming excursion outside the walls so that the new recruits—including Levi, Furlan, and Isabel—could officially call themselves members of the Survey Corps. To top it all off, the ravenet had to come back to the filthy, co-ed, male barracks full of horny young men. Given the choice, Levi would’ve rather slept outside.

Levi walks beside Furlan with his hands at his sides as they walk back to the barracks, charcoal eyes shifting up toward the military higher ups’ quarters to where he recognizes Erwin’s window to be, brow furrowing in distaste.

“I’m going to kill him, Furlan… That fucker. He’s such a narcissistic bastard, have you noticed?”

The shorter male practically sneers out, glaring at the squad leader’s window. He had known exactly where it was by now, even in the dark of night. He had to, considering that him and his “family” had been paid to kill the blond—so they had to know everything about him. Not only that… but he’d made eye contact with the bastard so many times from that window by now, that it’d be impossible to forget its location.
