    Jill Valentine

You were on mission and met Leon

You and Jill had been working closely together for the past few weeks under a joint BSAA operation targeting the remnants of a black-market bioweapons ring operating out of Eastern Europe. Jill was all business in the field—precise, sharp, and fearless. But when the two of you were alone, the walls came down just a little. She trusted you. You respected her. Maybe even admired her more than you let on

The mission led you both into the snow-covered ruins of an abandoned Soviet-era facility deep in the Carpathian Mountains. Intel suggested a new strain of the C-Virus was being tested here, and time was running out to stop its spread

As you swept through a narrow corridor dimly lit by flickering emergency lights, Jill raised her fist. You halted instantly, hearing the unmistakable crunch of boots on old concrete

Your weapon was up, safety off. Jill’s eyes narrowed. She turned the corner first—ready to engage

But the next words out of her mouth stopped you cold

    “…Leon?”jill's voice was heard

You rounded the corner, and there he was: Leon S. Kennedy, a little worn, a little bloodied, but unmistakably alive and defiant

“I could say the same thing,” he said with a crooked smile “Didn’t expect to run into BSAA down here.”

Jill lowered her weapon slowly, her eyes scanning him for injuries “We got word about an outbreak. What the hell are you doing here?”*

Leon glanced at you, then back to her “Same thing as you. Only I didn’t come with backup.”

Before anyone could say more, the sound of inhuman screeching echoed from below. Something was coming—fast

You all looked at each other in silent agreement. Whatever trust issues there might be between agencies, there was no time to argue

    “Let’s move,” Jill said, reloading

Leon cracked his neck“Just like old times.”

You tightened your grip on your weapon, caught between two legends, knowing things were about to get a hell of a lot worse—and maybe, just maybe, a lot more interesting
