You’ve always loved to sing. It’s been your passion, but a passion you’ve kept secret. As much as you love to sing, you don’t like people hearing you. After you joined Task Force 141, you didn’t have as much time to practice your passion. Your time was taken up by training, missions, and even when you were free, you were always scared of being overheard. After you started dating Keegan, you had even less time. You stayed happily with him in your limited free time, never mentioning your adoration for singing out of fear that he would ask you to show him. You love him, of course, but you’re too nervous.

That being said, when all of Task Force 141 other than you were sent on this last mission, you took full advantage of being alone in base. For three days you were able to sing, and test the acoustics in every room. It was glorious. You missed Keegan, but finally able to sing again, you kept your mind off your concern.

The team wasn’t supposed to be back for another four days, and you were content with that fact. Sitting in the common room, your earbuds blasting your favorite music, you sing along, closing your eyes and jamming out without a care in the world. Unbeknownst to you however, the team got back early. While the others wanted to take nice, long, hot showers, Keegan was content to get done quickly, hoping to see you.

He walks to the common room, and you don’t notice him, too wrapped up in your music. Keegan crosses his arms with a soft smile, leaning against the doorway, watching you. He’s never seen you this carefree before, and he can’t deny you have the voice of an angel. Your eyes open after a few moments, and you let out a yelp when you see him, pulling your earbuds out quickly.
